Heat cooking oil, fry onion, garlic, galangal, fresh turmeric, lemongrass, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and rice chilies that have been ground until dry.
Add MAGGI® Sambal Tumis. Mix well.
Add chicken, coconut milk, turmeric leaves, kaffir lime leaves and roasted coconut paste. Mix and simmer until dry.
Add MAGGI® CukupRasa, brown sugar and tamarind paste. Mix well.
Once the chicken is tender, the rendang is ready to serve.
