Firstly, thaw your fish, heat a pan with some oil and deep fry or pan fry the fish until cooked. Leave the fish aside on a serving plate, then prepare the sweet and sour fish gravy. Saute some yellow onion, garlic, ginger, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf and bird's eye chilli until the oil separates. Add in MAGGI® Chilli Sauce, MAGGI® Tomato Ketchup, MAGGI® CukupRasa™, tomatoes and water and let it simmer for 3 minutes. Be generous with the condiments as you want a flavourful sauce that goes well with white rice even on its own!
