Did you know, bitter gourd is full of nutritious goodness? It has fibre, antioxidants and polyphenols that are helpful in reducing inflammation and improving overall health. We have a tip to reduce the bitterness of the bitter gourd. Try soaking it in salt water or brine for a few minutes and your bitter gourd would taste far less bitter. Wash the sliced bitter gourd properly and then blanch it in boiling water for a few minutes.
