Pattaya fried rice is a dish that originates from Malaysia despite it named after a coastal city in Thailand. This dish evokes the imagery of Pattaya's beaches — fried rice covered in an egg blanket that resembles the warm sunshine, doused with sweet chilli sauce for a taste of Southeast Asia.
