The Fried Kway Teow with Gravy is a dish that is loved and enjoyed by many. It is irresistible to due to its rich flavours. The dish is made with both dark and light soy sauces which is then combined with fresh prawns and cockles, giving it a unique taste that most Malaysians love. The Fried Kway Teow with Gravy has the perfect balance of protein, carbohydrates and a good amount of vegetables. It is so simple to recreate by simply following this mouth-watering recipe from MAGGI®! The word Kway Teow can be spelt in many different ways but ultimately, it refers to the same thing, a type of flat rice noodles. Begin to make your very own Fried Kway Teow by frying the chopped garlic and kway teow noodles. A tip to ensure your noodles are perfectly cooked is to loosen apart the kway teow before stir-frying them. You can either pop them in the microwave or soak them in some warm water. Then, proceed to add in a packet of MAGGI® Sambal Tumis paste, prawns and cockles. The MAGGI® Sambal Tumis paste gives your dish that kick of flavour that would definitely blow your guest away! Next, add in the chopped chives and bean sprouts to give the dish that extra crunchiness. Now for the fun part! Add in MAGGI® Osyter Sauce, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce and a cup of water. Mix everything until well combined. Oh! Don’t forget to sprinkle MAGGI® CukupRasa™ and sugar to add a little flavouring to the gravy.
