Balinese Chicken is a culinary delight that hails from the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia. This aromatic and flavourful dish is definitely a must try. Enjoy the aroma of lemongrass and curry leaves and flavours of the chicken covered in different sauces by following this recipe. To prepare this dish, first you need to make the marinate. Mix turmeric powder and MAGGI® Oyster Sauce with chicken breast and chicken thigh and let it marinate for 15 to 20 minutes. In the meantime, blend 3 red onion, 2 inch ginger, and 100ml of water. Next, stir fry the blended ingredients with 5 stalks of crushed lemongrass, a packet of MAGGI® Sambal Tumis, chopped red onion and curry leaves until the oil separates. Then, add the marinated chicken and fry until the chicken is half cooked. Add 2 teaspoons of palm sugar (gula Melaka), 2 and half tablespoons of sweet soy sauce, and a tablespoon of MAGGI® Oyster Sauce. Keep frying and stirring over medium heat until the oil separates and your Balinese chicken is done! A taste of an Indonesian cuisine from you r very own kitchen!
