Still, nothing can beat a comforting, tasty plate of hot, sizzling yee mee. Yee mee is a favourite noodle dish among Malaysians! A warm, comforting dish with all the proteins and nutrients in a food pyramid — vegetables for fibre, chicken pieces for protein, noodles for carbohydrates, and most importantly, the egg with runny yolk makes the gravy more creamy. You know the moment of anticipation for your food is over as you hear the familiar sizzling sound and aroma wafting in your direction. Before tucking into this hearty dish, you give the noodles a good mix and make sure it soaks up all the gravy goodness — eat it while it's hot, every mouthful is such an incredible explosion of flavour. Now, you don’t have to travel far to eat yee mee, MAGGI® recipe is here to satisfy your sizzling yee mee cravings. Firstly, stir-fry garlic, ginger, dried chilli, chicken, MAGGI® Homemade Chicken Stock and dry shiitake mushroom in a pan until fragrant. Next, pour in some water, MAGGI® Oyster Sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, corn flour and water and let it boil to create the gravy. After letting it simmer for 10 to 20 minutes, pour in corn flour to thicken the gravy. Heat a flat pan or a sizzling pan and place the yee mee noodles and side dishes in it, then pour in the gravy to let it sizzle.
