Our recipe today is a vegetable that may not be on top of everyone’s favourite list; bitter gourd. After all, as its name suggests, this vegetable is a little bitter. Today we introduce a delicious dish that may change perceptions about bitter gourd Stirfry Bitter Gourd with Prawns, a delightful yet simple dish that you can whip up in a jiffy, and your family will love. Did you know, bitter gourd is full of nutritious goodness? It has fibre, antioxidants and polyphenols that are helpful in reducing inflammation and improving overall health. We have a tip to reduce the bitterness of the bitter gourd. Try soaking it in salt water or brine for a few minutes and your bitter gourd would taste far less bitter. Wash the sliced bitter gourd properly and then blanch it in boiling water for a few minutes.
