Step1 of 3: Water, Whole Kampung Chicken
In a soup pot, add water and the whole chicken. Bring it to a boil before lowering the heat to let it simmer.
Step2 of 3: Chinese Yellow Pear, Chinese Almonds, Red Dates, MAGGI® Chicken Stock Cube, Fish Maw
Next, skim the liquid and add in the pears, almonds, red dates, chicken cubes and fish maw. Cover and allow it to simmer for 2 hours.
Step3 of 3: Abalone
Season soup to taste with salt and add in the abalone slices just before serving. Garnish with spring onions and enjoy the soup while it’s hot. (*Tinned pacific clams, sea asparagus and bamboo fungus can also be added)
