What animal is mighty, large and has stripes all over its body? Without a doubt, it is definitely the tiger that roams the rainforests and grasslands. Do you know that this animal also has a sea counterpart that might also be part of your diet? Like their land counterpart, tiger prawns are striped, large-bodied prawns found naturally in Indo-pacific, Eastern Pacific, Northern Australia, and Southeast Asia. As a highly valuable seafood species, these prawns are targeted widely by commercial fishers and farmed primarily in seawater.
