Easy
As Ramadan arrives, it is an opportunity to reconnect with those who matter most to us; our family. Some of us take the opportunity to break fast together with loved ones during this holy month. A warm home-cooked meal, all our loved ones gathered together, and the smiles of joy as everyone enjoys the familiar comfort of mum’s cooking. However as a busy mother, cooking a meal that everyone loves might present a little challenge. Here’s a suggestion that might just be a winner. Prawn Chilli Fried MAGGI® Noodles. This dish is effortlessly easy to prepare yet memorably tasty, thanks to Mum’s special touch. With minimal ingredients and short cooking time, you can whip it up in time for either Iftar or sahur. In fact most of the ingredients necessary for this dish might already be in the fridge. Have a look and make sure they are the freshest ingredients, because the fresher the ingredients, the tastier the meal. To make Prawn Chilli Fried MAGGI® Noodles, you need to first boil the Maggi noodles for two minutes, drain the water and then plunge it into ice water to make it nice and springy. After this, heat oil in a pan and fry the sliced onions and garlic until fragrant. Then add in the main ingredients; squid and prawns. The fresh sweetness of squid and prawns will certainly add excitement to your dish. You can increase the ingredient portions if you are cooking for more family members. Add some water if you prefer a saucier Prawn Chilli Fried MAGGI® Noodles. You can use Kampung Style Chilli MAGGI® Mi Goreng for an even more delicious result, especially since the cili padi heat is sure to whet the appetite. The sweet soy sauce from the tastemaker pack, combined with MAGGI® Tomato Sauce is key to the wholesome aroma and taste of Prawn Chilli Fried MAGGI® Noodles. Mustard leaf and carrots make the dish more balanced and healthier. To add even more of a “kick”, add some chopped fresh cili padi to the mix. Serve with boiled eggs.
