Mother's Special Fried Rice

Easy
Ramadan is a time of reflection and reconnection with our spiritual self. It is also a time for togetherness as we gather around and break fast with our loved ones. Some of us look forward to breaking fast with Mum’s delicious meals. In fact, we probably remember and treasure the wholesomeness of her meals through the years. A memory filled with flavours and comforting familiarity. For instance, fried rice is a simple dish that you can find anywhere, but it will never compare with Mum’s simple yet utterly delicious version; the one she lovingly prepares whenever you ask. Let’s bring back that special memory with Mother’s Special Fried Rice. This complete yet wholesome meal is fast and easy to prepare. Add some MAGGI® Sambal Tumis Paste, and ahh…guaranteed yumminess! The sambal paste is filled with fresh ingredients like onions and chilli to add instant oomph to Mother’s Special Fried Rice. It also will “pecah minyak” easily, and will lend wonderful flavour to the fried rice. What you have to do now, is heat oil in a wok and fry the onion, garlic and anchovy mixture. Onions add sweetness while garlic gives that umami aroma that is so appetising. Add MAGGI® Sambal Tumis Paste together with MAGGI® Tomato Sauce and MAGGI® CukupRasa™. Stir fry to blend the base ingredients evenly. To replenish the energy and nutrients lost during a day of fasting, add ingredients like chicken, eggs, carrot and long beans. Mother’s Special Fried Rice is now a wholesome and nutritious meal that will satisfy everyone’s appetite. The freshness of vegetables, the heartiness of chicken and eggs, the energy from the rice, all come together in a wonderfully wholesome meal. Garnish with some chopped spring onions and Mother’s Special Fried Rice is ready to serve. You can also whip it up for a sahur meal.
